The BIG photo challenge!The BIG photo challenge is a photo challenge, which is based on a theme which is picked at random and changed each week. The themes are designed to be quick, easily achievable, for amateurs and new photographers and they can easily be completed in the house and garden. Everybody follows the same theme.
Why?
It's just a fun, informal way of improving your photography skills, it forces you to think outside the box and have a little fun with some friends.
When?
Every Thursday
Where?
On your own blog...and here.
How?
You will get a week to complete each assignment. Once you have taken your photo you will post your photo on your blog, along with a copy of the meme link below. The meme link will link to this post, so that people can get information on the challenge. I will publish the next week's theme on my blog each Thursday. I will start a McLinky list when I set each assignment so that you can add your blog to the McLinky list. You don't need to sign up to this, just note down the theme, start working on it and then make your post and leave your link here next Thursday :) It would be nice if you could add a few words about how you think your photo fits in with the theme and anything else interesting, or that you learned while taking the photo.

ReplyDeleteNo it's never too late Aimee - this week's theme is open until Thursday, you can still enter something for this week, or choose to wait until week 2's theme is announced on Thursday. It would be nice to have more people joining in cos I love looking at photos :)

Click that and it will take you directly to the post explaining the latest assignement as well as the post where you can add your links.
No prizes, as I've explained before, the reason we're doing this is for fun...and people start to think it's not fun any more when they don't win prizes :)

ReplyDeleteHey I have a suggestion, Louise. I think it would be a little bit easier if you put the Big Photo Challenge button and code in the sidebar so I could snatch it real quick. Just a suggestion, but I think it would be a little bit easier. :)

ReplyDeleteThis is great! I just might get a cool new camera on monday :)We had planned on it anyway so I guess this will be a good reason to start taking pictures cause I like looking at photos too .
